Ahhhh!  The sun has finally come out and it is a bit warmer.  Just give me a beach with palm trees and a rum punch, and I’m happy.  (I have very basic needs.)

Memories of days on the beach in Greece, Israel, Barbados, Curaçao….  maybe not Curaçao (we were robbed on the beach and I was not clothed properly for a chase after a robber), but that’s all I need.  Sun, and a beach….  ok, AND a rum punch!

On the subject of beaches, soon to be on Twitter (@Pretty_Veggie) and on the blog, Thai “Chicken” with Eggplant and Pineapple.  One of my favorites.

Bad, BAD, Baaaad!  It is FREEZING out.  Ok, 50-ish.  But, I had to turn on the heat.  My feet are freezing!  This is not good. 

If I cook nice, warming comfort food this week, I’m going to put my feet in it!  lol

Do I HAVE to come out from under this blanket?  Noooooo…..!

Yesterday, a new page was posted.  And, today, the first two “recipes” are being posted.  I’ll have a photo of the Un-Stuffed Cabbage on Twitter tomorrow (it really came out delicious!), and I’ll add more recipes and photos to the website as soon as I can get them posted.

I really do want to put more effort into the appearance of the website, so as I’ve said a couple of times, it’s a work in progress!

This is definitely the right weather for Un-Stuffed Cabbage and many of the other comfort foods I like to make.  It’s cooooold out!

Yippee! The Un-Stuffed Cabbage is made, and delicious, if I do say so myself.  Another page is added, “Filling in the Blanks,” and there will definitely be a couple of recipes (nope, “descriptions”) posted tomorrow.

“Pretty Veggie” Mindy

Yes, I promised, and I WILL make Un-Stuffed Cabbage this weekend, now that it’s cooler.  AND, I will start putting some recipes, well, DESCRIPTIONS, on the website.  I can be pretty descriptive, so it should be fun.

And, yes, still trying to work out the kinks in the website, so bear with me.  But, I thought it was important to get more info on here, and I’ll get back to prettying-up the website in a bit.
