Yippee! I was able to fix the title of the blog, all by myself!
ln the next couple of days l’ll fix a few more items, add a “Pretty Veggie Theme” section, add food photos and “directions” (I wouldn’t eactly call them recipes as I don’t to a lot of measuring), add a quick noodle dish I ate last night, and once it cools down this weekend will make the Un-Stuffed Cabbage I’ve been talking about. Definitely a comfort food more suitable for cooler weather, although I sometimes make it in the summer. Thank goodness for air conditioning.

…..to figure out WordPress. If I wasn’t so frustrated, I’d think it was funny. Ok, it IS funny. Kinda.
I uploaded photos of food, to date, and a photo of me. You can see the photo of me, but NOT the photos of the food. Maybe someone is trying to tell me something? lol (Oh, and did you notice the title of the website disappeared, too?)
Well, I will persevere! We will get there! And you WILL see the food photos and “recipes” of a sort, as I’m really not a strictly recipe kind of cook. But, I will tell you how I made the food.
And I will also tell you (shhhh. Its been a secret), that I’m just a person who loves to cook, and come up with ways to “tweak” foods to accommodate my being a veggie, AND (biggest secret), I have no knife skills.
So, take a deep breath, read “About Pretty Veggie” and get to know me a bit better, follow me on Twitter, make comments, ask questions, and little by little we’ll get this veggie show on the road!
….. whether to change the format of the blog. I’d like it to be easier to publish “recipes,” and post photos.
“Recipes”? Why? ” “? ‘Cause I don’t do a lot of measuring. I put “a little of this,” and “a little of that.” And, if it needs a little more of something, I figure out what I want to taste more of, and add a bit of it!
Sweeter? Saltier? Spicy-er? Some lemon? Brown sugar? Sriracha? What would we do without Sriracha? (Hot sauce? Harissa? Tschug?)
In the meantime, I’ve posted photos of my creations of the past week or so on Twitter Pretty_Veggie and will keep on trying to tackle how this bloody (yup, went to school in England) blog works.
Veggie UN-Stuffed Cabbage coming up in the next few days. Keep an eye out. And, don’t forget to take a look at “About Pretty Veggie,” so you know where I’m comin’ from and why the things I cook are Pretty…darn… Veggie!

Yup, I’m still under construction. Trying, little by little to learn how to work WordPress. I just posted a pic of the Tofu Fries and Spicy Mayo I made last night, on Twitter, where I also recently posted pics of my Lentil Vegetable Soup, Quickie Zucchini and Cheese Quiche, and “Chicken” and Vegetable Stir Fry with Tofu Noodles. (And I’ll post them here, too, once I figure out how to do it.)
Today I’m working on veggie Shepherds Pie. Going to be interesting since its usually real beef or lamb, but I’m doing it with veggie “meat.” Still gonna be a good swap for the real thing, yummy and comforting, so check back!

It’s not at all hard to see that I’m a newbie at this. But, I’m usually bloody good at learning new programs (sorry, that “bloody” came from going to school in England), and I hope to get up to speed in the not-too-distant future!
